Course Description

Frolic through cool pine forests and gorgeous wildflower-filled meadows along the rumbling Middle Fork of the Popo Agie River. This is a great race for anyone just starting out running and are looking for a fun and interesting challenge.

From the start at Bruce’s Parking Area: Head down the canyon on a rocky trail until you reach your first junction. Turn left and head down along the Middle Fork of the Popo Agie River. When you reach the picnic table near the Forest Service Campground, turn left over the small footbridge. Continue past (not over) the larger bridge on the single track trail. Follow the river down the canyon loop towards the Aspen Grade Trail. When you hit the Aspen Grade junction, turn left to head up a steep and technical trail for about 3/4 of a mile. You will meet up with the Brewer’s Trail at the next junction where you will turn right to head down the trail. Continue down Brewer’s Trail until you reach the bottom of the trail. Turn left to finish the last 1/2 mile of the race.
